Our Church reaches out to inmates in the Orange County Jail,
as well as the Orange County Work Release Center. We currently hold services in
the Orange County Jail on Thursday and Saturday evenings, and at the Work Release Center on Thursday evenings.
We bring God’s Word through music, teaching, and preaching;
modeling our services after those here the Pentecostals of Apopka.
We have a wonderful, anointed Presence of God each week in the jail, which we
attribute to teaching and leading the men and women in worship by example.
If you want to join a ministry that calls for you to be a
kingdom warrior, then this is such an opportunity. We regularly get to witness
the miracle of forgiveness, as the weight of sin is released and men and women
receive the Holy Ghost. If you are looking for a ministry where your love for
God and your fellow man is greatly needed, this is such a ministry.
We entertain the Presence of God week in and week out,
closing our services with the Presence of God at times so strong that no one
wants to leave. Imagine how much you enjoy the apostolic freedom in worship.
Then imagine the cold, dry environment of the jail system – these men and
women need men and women to bring this apostolic worship and liberty into the
jail. It’s important. We can touch lives in a way that many men and women have
never experienced before.
The Jail system is very transitory. Our mission is to create
an atmosphere for repentance and a chance to seek God’s heart – we do
this every week – we weekly explain God’s plan of Salvation to some we
only see once, and to others who may spend several months with us.
As of 2010,
we have seen 365 men and women filled with God’s gift of the Holy Ghost within
the Jail and Work Release System.
